( dam of Colonel Freckles)

Trained by Bobby Ingersoll,   "Bad Blood" has both NRCHA ($11,000) and NCHA ($2,399) lifetime earnings with very limited showing. Bad Blood is one of the youngest living direct sons of Doc O’Lena.

Doc O’Lena, the sire of Bad Blood, is a NCHA Futurity Champion and prominent sire of NCHA, NRCHA, NRHA and AQHA performance horses. In 1997 Doc O’Lena was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame. His Equi-Stat offspring earnings exceed $14 million in cutting. Poco Lena, Doc O’Lena’s dam, was the first horse inducted into the NCHA Hall of fame

Christy Jay, the dam of Bad Blood, produced performance horses and their "get" with combined earnings totaling nearly $4 million. Her direct offspring (earnings of $268,752) include among others, Colonel Freckles (1976 NCHA Futurity Champion and AQHA Hall of Fame inductee, $46,305 NCHA earnings), He’s A Freckles ($19,835 NCHA earnings, NCHA Futurity finalist), Freckles Delight (NCHA Futurity finalist), CJ Sugar (NCHA Futurity semi-finalist), Christy Lena ($64,303 NCHA earnings, NCHA Futurity semi-finalist - full sister to Bad Blood), Freckles Gentleman (NCHA Futurity semi-finalist), Colonel Rey Lena ($23,930 NCHA earnings), and Dox Molly O Grady ($82,532 NCHA earnings - full sister to Bad Blood).

Few horses possess the proven performance versatility as that of Bad Blood. Bobby Ingersoll rode Bad Blood into the finals of the World’s Greatest Horseman, a competition requiring Cutting, Reining, Cow Horse and Roping, all with one bit and only one mount. Bad Blood also took Bobby to third place in the coveted Magnificent Seven All-Around competition.

For the first time ever, the opportunity to breed into this performance lineage is available to qualified mares.
